How to do philosophy without words
Picture of mL Talks: Emanuele Coccia

“We are used to thinking of philosophy as something embodied in the book form and as something that has a privileged relationship with words.
Starting from personal experiences and collaborations (Fondation Cartier, Le Frenoy, Gucci), I would like to present three examples where philosophy can be done using other media: exhibitions, videos and fashion.
Finally, I would like to ask about the consequences of this ultra-verbal extension of philosophy to university pedagogy adopted in the humanities.”

Prof. Coccia is an Italian philosopher and currently a visiting professor at Harvard.
